As part of our Lenten journey, we will be offering parishioners two opportunities to cook and serve for St. Herman’s House of Hospitality.
Sunday, March 13 after Badarak, we will have a community meal prep session, and then will serve dinner at 5:15pm at St. Herman’s.
Saturday March 26, we will meet at the Church Hall from 12-2pm for meal prep and then serve the meal in the evening at 5:15pm.
St. Herman’s is located on 4410 Franklin Blvd, Cleveland, OH 44143. If you are interested in cooking or serving, please contact Dn. Ari Terjanian: ariterjanian@gmail.com. St. Herman House’s mission is to shelter and support homeless men on the path to well-being and independence and meet the basic needs of people in our community.
They have an emergency shelter for 28 men and a transitional home that accommodates 12 men. In addition, they serve three meals a day, seven days a week, every day of the year to anyone in need. As an expression of Christ’s love, FOCUS North America serves the hungry, thirsty, stranger, naked, sick and imprisoned by providing Food, Occupation, Clothing, Understanding, and Shelter.
