On Sunday, December 10th, we had the pleasure to welcome Sarah Stites from Fund for Armenian Relief’s Ayo in Cleveland. She shared her story of falling in love with Armenia and starting her journey and mission with FAR. She also made a short presentation on the current situation in the country and the situation with our Artsakh brothers and sisters. After discussing the needs of displaced families from Artsakh, she explained how AYO supports them in many different ways with the help of donors like you. People learned more about how they could help make a difference and made donations to AYO. Through donations from our Sisterhood, individual parish donors, and a recent very successful event initiated, hosted, coordinated, and organized by our amazingly talented and energetic young parishioners, Angela Sarukhanyan and Andreh Avitsian contributions to FAR’s AYO program amounted to nearly $12,000.
