Organized by the Sisterhood, eight ladies from St. Gregory volunteered at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank. During a 2-hour volunteer period, 2 time slots, along with the other volunteers, made 1,440 backpacks for kids! Children who receive food assistance at school may not have meals to eat at home over the weekends, so these backpacks contain 2 full days of meals for each child to cover Saturday and Sunday when they are at home! The ladies who attended enjoyed the volunteer experience! What a great way to start the Great Lent! Thank you.
