The Cleveland Cultural Gardens Federations’ (CCGF) Annual Installation Dinner took place on Monday, April 15th at “La Centre Conference & Banquet Facility” in Westlake, Ohio.
From the total number of about 150 attendees, 19 were members of the Armenian Community! We had the opportunity to not only interact with each other, but also with members of other ethnic groups and gardens.
The reception lasted four hours, during which guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with cash bar, singing and drumming provided by the Native American Garden followed by a totally fun group dance instruction, a delicious buffet dinner, exciting silent auction and raffle with gift cards to famous and popular local restaurants, jewelry pieces, wines, baskets filled with ethnic goods & specialties and of course the installation ceremony of the newly elected CCGF officers and Board members.
Thank you to all those who attended the event. Needless to say, those who didn’t attend the event, were greatly missed.
We aim to have a larger group and even a larger presence next year!
If you are not a member of the Armenian Cultural Garden (ACG) yet but are interested in meeting new people, learning about other cultures, making new friends, and most of all sharing your vision, experience and talents with us for the benefit of our growing and vibrant community, we invite you to become a member today.
