Columbus Mission Parish Welcomes Primate

On Saturday, April 13, as part of his visit to the faithful in Ohio, Diocesan Primate Bishop Mesrop Parsamyan visited the Armenian Church of Columbus mission parish. There, he met with the community along with visiting pastor Fr. Hratch Sargsyan. Parishioners welcomed their bishop with a spirit-filled service and a warm-hearted fellowship afterwards.

“I am deeply thankful for this opportunity to deliver a homily and engage with so many of the people,” said Bishop Mesrop. “Each conversation, each shared story, and each smile was a testament to the strong faith and unity that characterizes your wonderful community.” Surpazan recognized Onig Tchobanian who has been a lifelong member and parish council chairperson of the community, for his many years of service and dedication.

He added: “I thank the parish council and all the faithful in Columbus for their warmth and hospitality. Until we meet again, may the peace of God be with you all, and may His everlasting love guide every step you take.”
