On Saturday, December 7th, the St. Gregory of Narek Sisterhood hosted a delightful Christmas Breakfast at the scenic Nature Center at Shaker Lakes. The event brought together our parish lades for a morning filled with joy, fellowship, and the spirit of the season.
The day began with an optional early morning walk along the Nature Center’s trails, offering a refreshing start in the crisp December air. Inside, attendees enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a beautiful view of the wooded conservancy. A warm welcome by the new chairperson of the Sisterhood’s executive board, Lisa Richardson, and a special reflection by Der Hratch added a meaningful touch to the festivities, reminding everyone of the true essence of Christmas. All the ladies had the opportunity to share their favorite thing about Christmas. The morning concluded with a lively White Elephant gift exchange, where gently used books became treasured surprises, bringing laughter and smiles to all. The Sisterhood extends its gratitude to all the ladies who brought a dish to share and to Lisa Richardson for her outstanding effort in organizing and coordinating the event. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Fund for Armenian Relief, adding an extra layer of purpose and generosity to this joyful celebration. Thank you to everyone who made this gathering such a meaningful and memorable start to the holiday season! |
