Sunday School Christmas Drive for FAR AYO Co-Funding Platform: Bringing Joy to Artsakh’s Children

This year’s Sunday School Christmas Drive for FAR AYO Co-Funding Platform was a resounding success, thanks to the generous support of our parishioners. The drive aimed to bring joy to displaced children from Artsakh by providing them with bicycles for Christmas—a gift of hope and happiness during a challenging time.

The original goal was to sponsor 45 children with bicycles, requiring $1,350. Through the combined efforts of our church community, the drive raised an incredible $1,800. This remarkable achievement means that over 60 children will now receive bicycles, exceeding all expectations and bringing smiles to even more young faces.

Yn. Naira, who spearheaded the initiative as the Church School Superintendant, shared her heartfelt gratitude: “We initially aimed to sponsor 45 children with bikes. With the funds raised, I am happy we can now sponsor over 60 children. I’d like to thank all our parishioners for their generous support for this wonderful initiative in partnership with AYO to bring the joy of Christmas to our Artsakh children.”

Donations are still being accepted for those who wish to support this meaningful cause. Contributions can be made through the Sunday School or online by entering “St. Gregory of Narek Sunday School” in the “Donation Message” box.

This Christmas Drive is a testament to the power of faith, community, and generosity, and its impact will be felt by these children for years to come. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this effort and helped make a difference in the lives of the children of Artsakh.
