Our Palm Sunday celebration, hosted by the ACYOA Juniors, was a joyful and well-attended event that brought together parishioners of all ages. The day began with the beautiful “Opening of the Doors” service and a festive Divine Liturgy, setting a reverent and uplifting tone for the celebration that followed.
Following his heartfelt message, Der Hratch invited the children to the sanctuary and offered a special blessing, creating a meaningful and memorable moment for our youngest parishioners and their families. Meanwhile, our Sunday School students took part in a special Palm Sunday craft, learning about the day’s spiritual significance in a hands-on and engaging way. At noon, guests enjoyed a delicious lamb dinner, prepared and served with care by our youth. The atmosphere was festive and full of life—with Armenian music, dancing, and fellowship filling the church hall. Raffles, an Armenian Easter-themed chocolate sale, and the spirit of community added to the joy. The fundraising efforts of our ACYOA Juniors were a great success, with all proceeds supporting our Youth Ministry. We are so proud of our young people for their hard work, hospitality, and dedication to continuing this beloved Diocesan tradition. Thank you to all who attended and supported the event—your presence and generosity made the day truly special! |
