Our New Year’s Eve Celebration was truly a memorable and joy-filled evening for our church family. We began the night in prayer in the sanctuary with the beautiful service of the Blessing of the Pomegranates. Each person in attendance received a pomegranate, a meaningful symbol as we entered the New Year with faith, hope, and thanksgiving.
Following the service, the celebration continued with great joy and fellowship. Everyone who attended the New Year’s Eve gathering had a wonderful time, and the evening was filled with laughter, music, and a strong sense of community.
Events like this require tremendous effort and dedication, and we are deeply grateful to Yn. Naira Azatyan for hosting, coordinating, and organizing such a beautiful and successful event. Our sincere thanks also go to all the women who generously prepared and shared appetizers and desserts, including Gohar, Lilit Todorova, Anna, Maga, Amalya, Kristina, Qristine, Susan Kocharyan, Lusine, Dzaghig Pounardjian, Maryna, Arpine, and Tatev Sargsyan, as well as all the ladies who helped with setup and cleanup.
We are equally thankful to our men who worked hard to prepare the meat and grill delicious khorovadz, including Karo, Grigor, Gegham Dervishyan, Simon, Andranik, Tigran, Hamlet, Hakob, and Valeri. Many thanks to David for setting up the sound system and to Hovhannes Dervishyan for doing an outstanding job DJ-ing and keeping the celebration lively throughout the night.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who donated toward the Blessing of the Pomegranates, including Yvette Eliza, Lilit Grigoryan, Ari Narek Terjanian, Ronnie Tellalian, Selin Arakelian Panosyan, Suzelle Aghamalian-Avitsian, Raz Pounardjian, and Yn. Naira Azatyan.
Thank you to everyone who participated, contributed, and helped make this New Year’s Eve celebration such a meaningful and joyful way to begin the year together. May the Lord bless our community with peace, unity, and abundance in the year ahead.
