On Friday, May 24, North Olmsted High School hosted an international cultural celebration event featuring countries from all over the world. Jackie Mehta of Armenian origin who works as a counselor at school, wanted to make sure her nation was included as well! Her parents (Jack and Mary Kananians) generously hosted our station and greeted the visitors. Narekatsi dance group represented Armenia by performing national dances and serving some delicious food. Our station had informative posters and cultural props, and the guests were stopping by to read and ask questions about Armenia, its history, religion and language.
