We are pleased to share that members of our community recently participated in the Armenian Assembly Advocacy Days in Washington, D.C., joining over 200 Armenians from across the country to raise their voices on critical issues affecting our homeland and people.
We are especially proud that two of our young parish members, Tigran and Elena Baghdasaryan, were among more than 150 college students selected to participate through this important initiative. During their time in Washington, they took part in multiple meetings with Congressional offices, where they spoke thoughtfully and courageously about the realities facing Armenia and Artsakh, particularly in light of recent aggression.
Their presence and participation are a powerful reminder that our youth are not only aware, but actively engaged in advocating for truth and justice.
As a community, we are encouraged to build on these efforts. Advocacy does not end with a visit—it continues through our collective voice. We urge all parishioners to take a few minutes to support ongoing initiatives, including the Armenian Genocide Education Act (HR 2585) and the Armenian Security Partnership Act (HR 6840), by contacting their representatives.
