At the direction and blessing of our Primate, His Grace Bishop Mesrop Parsamyan, St. Gregory of Narek Church will join parishes throughout the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of America in offering a special Prayer Service of Thanksgiving in honor of the 250th Anniversary of the Independence of the United States of America.

This special prayer service will take place during our regular Sunday Badarak on June 14, which also coincides with America’s Flag Day observance.

In his message to the faithful, Bishop Mesrop reflected on the profound gratitude Armenian-Americans hold for this country, which became a place of refuge, freedom, and opportunity for generations of Armenians. As the first Armenian Church Diocese established in America, our Diocese prayerfully gives thanks to God for the many blessings bestowed upon our people through life in this nation.

During the service, special prayers will be offered for our country, its leaders, armed forces, and all citizens, asking our Lord Jesus Christ to continue guiding and protecting America with wisdom, peace, justice, and compassion.

We warmly invite all our parishioners and friends to join us in this meaningful service of thanksgiving and prayer as we honor this historic milestone and entrust our nation and future generations to God’s loving care.
