Last week nine ladies from St. Gregory of Narek Sisterhood had the wonderful opportunity to serve dinner to the residents of Laura’s Home Women and Children Shelter. We are thrilled to share that St. Gregory of Narek sponsored tonight’s dinner through fundraising from some of our Meechink Dinner profits. Our ladies were able to serve over 100 women and children who reside at the shelter!

On the menu tonight was Asian Blossom Chicken, Fried rice, mixed vegetables, and a delicious dessert of cookies or cream puffs, along with refreshing lemonade. Our ladies made sure to provide meal alternatives for those who preferred something different from the chicken dish. Not only did they serve the meal, but they also helped with setting up and cleaning afterward. The shelter staff expressed their gratitude to our ladies for taking the time to serve and support their residents! A big thank you to Lisa Spiech and everyone involved in making this service opportunity a success. Let’s continue to spread kindness and support in our community!
