Last Sunday, our parish family gathered to celebrate Father’s Day following the Divine Liturgy.
After Badarak, we offered a special prayer and blessing for all fathers, grandfathers, godfathers, and father figures, thanking God for their love, sacrifice, guidance, and faithful example in their homes and in the life of our Church.
The celebration continued with a fellowship hour hosted by the Women’s Guild and coordinated by Suzelle Avitsian. It was a wonderful opportunity for families to spend time together and recognize the important role fathers play in our lives. The Parish Council also presented each father with a keychain engraved with a Bible verse as a small token of appreciation.
The children enjoyed a Father’s Day Chalk Festival organized by the Sunday School, filling the church grounds with colorful drawings celebrating their dads and families. The Sunday School, coordinated by Yn. Naira Azatyan, also provided pizza, ice cream, and refreshments, making it a fun afternoon for everyone.
We are grateful to the Women’s Guild, the Sunday School, the Parish Council, and all the volunteers who helped make this celebration possible. Above all, we thank God for the fathers in our parish and pray that He will continue to bless them with faith, wisdom, strength, and many years of good health.
